I often see such postulates as in the images attached... "As it follows from [Bosma 1962]"... And there appears nothing close to that! With the same success you can write "as it follows from Maxwell equations". I want to know, who started that copy-pasting without exact reference? I want to know the initial text and those particular conditions where it has the power.
P.S. I know what is 1.84, but there is no such in Bosma. It is in Helsjain, long japanese manuscript by konishi etc,but not there.
It is crazy how many papers replicate these insane "postulates" with various typos (when "-" is replaced with "*" and vice versa) without any traceable reference. I understand when those are conference papers from India or Iran, but I found it even in report on EE course in San Jose State U.
The line I love the most in such works is "Thre Green’s function can be easily derived in term of Bessel function....". Sht.. I wish I could easily derive Greens functions for any structure on a napkin like those guys.
