I am looking for an academic with a good understanding of the term smart community or smart communities. Ideally someone who has published articles on the subject, ideally in relation to healthcare although this last part is not essential. I am looking for someone that I can interview as part of my PhD study. If they are based outside of the UK this might need to be a Skype interview. Any recommendations /suggestions ?
Also any recommendations for articles, projects or other research I might want to look at in this areas ?
I am working on smart communities research as evidenced in a paper that I have posted here and published in the Journal of Health and Human Services Administration. I am also presenting the information at the national conference of ASPA in Atlanta in March of 2017. But, I am no longer in any fashion attached to Central Michigan University but I don't know how to get that affiliation removed from my work where it appears.

I recently presented a brief summary of smart communities and healthy communities at City Hall in Orlando, Florida as part of a luncheon presented by the Central Florida Chapter of ASPA. I will also be presenting in February at the South Florida Conference on Best Practices in Public Service. There will also be a chapter on this issue in my forthcoming book (2017).
