I am looking at a test that would work with the data I have available and what would help assess my current hypothesis.
I have access to data of American mink (Neovison vison) and Eurasion otter (Lutra lutra), and potentially have data sets for prey species such as the European rabbit( Oryctolagus cuniculus ), and Water vole ( Arvicola amphibius ). These data sets vary in length, however are all long term data sets collected by a recording organisation that gains records through public, and experts confirming.
I also have access to habitat maps of the study area.
I'm trying to find a statistic test that I can use to assess if the American Mink have had a shift in habitat preference based on the increase of the Eurasian otter population.
I am also trying to find another statistic test to see if there is a relationship between the habitat of prey and predator.
Anyone able to help?
