As light moves through the universe with light speed, it should not be exposed to time as we know it. Therefore, the photon arriving from the earliest time of the universe should arive "now" in its own time scale everywhere in the universe.
But if no time is passing for light, how is it possible that photons "change" their spin, as changing needs time?

- really no time is passing not only for light, but for everything else, since time fundamentally isn’t passing/flow, etc.
Though everything that changes fundamentally obligatorily moves at every change in the time dimension, which [this dimension] doesn’t pass, flow, etc.. As, say, practically everything moves in the well observed 3DXYZ space dimensions, and at that the space doesn’t move to anywhere.
So, say, if some light was radiated on a billion of light years distance from Earth somewhere in Space, and is seen now on Earth, this light moved in time dimension in billion of years. At that photons can change their spins, etc., but that changes nothing in the above

Time acts clearly on a photon, as one can see in its frequency. Photons of light for instance, with their frequency f=c/lambda in the high THz range change their electric and magnetic field composition within fractions of a second and gazillion times between emission and absorption. Depending on where you probe it, you will measure a diffent field strength and direction, more easily done for radio frequency photons. interactions with matter on its way have a clear temporal order. Like: first it was scattered on a particle and lost energy, then it was polarization-filtered/projected in x-direction, and so forth. So time and successive events must have passed for it.
