Regardless if one is a leader or not, if one has learnt to meditate using for example a heart-based method, one would have worked through the emotional layer and therefore be able to handle stress in an effective and efficient way.
Leading and working under pressure is a skill that needs a lot of practice. When achieved, it can be so helpful and productive. A good & successful leader manager has the potential to lead effectively under pressure and any other circumstances.
One of the ways to improve the performance in difficult times is by emotion regulation and emotion management.These are related with emotion modification, cognitive appraisal and response modulation.Working in crisis is challenging and requires lot of character and professional skill to overcome . Emotion management enables leaders to reduce the undesirable affects of negative emotions and redirect those into something useful and productive. With emotion regulation the energy of aggressiveness is converted into positive energy that results in increased resolve and determination to bear the frustration created due to the crisis situation .
When a crisis hits, there is no time for a manager who is frantic and disorganized.Without self-control, it is easy for a manager to fall into the grip of panic and be at the mercy of their feelings.A manager who can exhibit strong self-control even in the midst of crisis is much more capable of making rational decisions, communicating clearly, and working to effectively solve the problem.
Crises in the workplace can emerge in many different forms and often strike without warning.Therefore, it takes a manager who is well-composed and can think quickly on their feet to foster teamwork and bring about creative solutions to these problems.
A real leader will not panic during crisis. Let me give you an example. Captain "Sully" Sullenberger landed a jet place with many passengers safely on the Hudson River in New York because he determined calmly that was the only way to save his passengers. Stress is a nature & so to say a created man made habit for which such individual have not taken the necessary line of action for their life passage . It is in this line I have expressed my opinion in similar views which I submit herewith for your perusal .
Work is worship & to manage the working process for our career development & growth , we should accept the challenge of the problem & in this case tension & worries should not be taken in prior line .
It is in this case if stress come for the working problem instead of thinking & contemplate for the stress we should put for the time being the problem of stress & concentrate on another line of working .
With this receiving with calm & quite mind we can reduce the stress & solve the problem which has come to us .
Surely they are under stress because of their feeling bad and guilty for their extremely poor ordinary compatriots, whom they have robbed for the sake of their own prosperity and profit. Their sins can't be forgiven by God.
Effective leaders are proficient in controlling their aggressiveness in crisis situations and this is due to their foresightedness and a superior analytic ability to correctly evaluate the consequences and the likely outcome in case they are overwhelmed with the negativity of aggressiveness.
Effective leaders are usually successful only if they are of a cool demeanor as being cool, calm and collected can help the individual face any problems in life and emerge victorious.
AS leader in sandwich positions in middle-management you are asked to perform AS head of your Departement and be top in your topic and are required to have time for your team - impossible but our daily task... Some actions can be learned, some are training and some require personal experience, talent and luck...
Leaders should not have an aggrressive behavor while leading in crisis or not. Leader means an acceptance by the units. You cannot progress without the presence of every one. Leading means creating in peace and in favor of very one. The false leaders need protection and a distance from the units so to confirm their "false leading" properties. Leading is happiness and creativity.
According to my experience, it is so hard to be a leader in some critical situations... the most important solution to minimize the stress is to organise the team members tasks so everyone can be full focused on the mission to be done

Leadership in crisis conditions leads to more crises and confusion in behavior, and some leaders even to escape from the crisis experienced by creating new crises.
If you are stressed and this stress robs you energy, you feel weak after a certain time, than the things you do are wrong. This happens sometimes, but is an indicator that something is going wrong. When this also leads to bad behaviour of yourself… you should urgently change your job and readjust to the light.
