I am looking for material to make my own microcolumns/ in-tageTips for peptide purification before LCMS-analysis.
Earlier i have used C18-disc and POROS 50 R2 reversed powder (column material).
POROS 50 R2 is not sold anymore. I can buy R1. The difference is that the beads have a different pore structure – R1 has wider pores.
I am wondering if anybody has tried R1 and if the wider pores cause any problems?

It sounds like you're using the microcolumns for desalting purposes only (so not to get chromatographic resolution for your peptide mixtures)?
In that case, I don't expect that switching to POROS R1 will get you into trouble..

you might want to be careful with that change. Here are my notes on the properties of the various POROS resins;
-R1: equivalent to C4
-R2: equivalent to C8-C18 (a bit less hydrophobic than traditional C18s)
-Oligo R3: equivalent to C18+ (ie. more hydrophobic than C18, normally used for nucleotide purification)
As such, I would not recommend R1 for PEPTIDES. It will be fine with proteins though. It took some hunting to track down that information on the resins, for some reason the information is not readily available.
There are plenty of C18 resins available that you can use to pack your own tips for peptide clean-up.
