In the framework of a COST action, Transmit, I am involved in the development of a LCA database for CCUS - Carbon Capture, Utilization and Sequestration - of Processes. Also a Process Simulation and a TechnoEconomy databases will be created.

The main goal of developing the database is to validate LCA future studies, but in my opinion it can also serve to support future LCA studies of CCUS processes.

Hence, I would like to discuss with pratitioners and specialists in the LCA and CCUS fields in Researchgate what aspects should include, for example:

- Only Inventory data, or also environmental indicators?

- What level of metadata is adequate: full process description of the CCUS process of simplified?

- Any other relevant aspect.

- Is adequate a direct connection with the the process simulation and TechoEconomic Databases.

- What datafields should be included.

Regarding the last issue, as process simulation is increasingly used to obtain the Life cycle Inventories, and the calculation of the externalities costs is increasingly more important, probably integrate the three.

Please give me your opinions and ideas, to start the discussion.
