Dear all,
I set up a SWAT model for a Belgium lowland watershed. I managed to model/calibrate the discharge pretty well (NSE=0.8 and higher) using SWAT-CUP. However, checking the Output.sub file I recognized that no GWQ occured and the LATQ was unexpectedly high. The LATQ is the dominating fraction which is pretty good.
Do you have any ideas, why GWQ is 0 despite RCHRG_DP is a hyper-sensitive parameter according to sensitivity analysis? And theoretically I would assume that in totally flat terrains no LATQ should occur. We observed the presence from LATQ in lowland terrains in earlier studies and came to the conclusion that it should somehow be added to the tile flow modelled.
But do you still have any ideas why no GWQ occurs?
Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.
Best regards.
Stefan.
