If we consider the Kinetic and thermodynamic analysis a set of " Language " to express thermal degradation of a substance, then what would both tend to inform us.

1. Are Kinetic parameters just tell us about the energy barriers of thermal degradation?

2. Are Thermodynamic parameters like frequency factor A, DeltaH, G and S, etc tell us that reaction was spontaneous or not spontaneous?

Kindly guide, if these parameters ( both kinetic and Thermodynamics) have any association with each other when they are obtained in +ive or negative values.
