How can India's caste system be the fruit of unchecked white power? The caste system originated thousands of years ago in India by Indians, not white people. No doubt it originated through elites of the era wishing to maintain dominance, as is what usually happens in stratification systems. Such hegemonic ideas are common to most societies around the world.
I speculate Plato‘s Noble Lie may have influenced India to use reincarnation to support their caste system(see Book Respectfully and Unfortunately, The Improbability of, and Da...
Valerie Saunders Of course. Yet, Plato MAYBE reinforced the caste system with his ”Noble Lie.” Plus, my research indicates the afterlife is always eternal salvation for all.
how do you know that the afterlife is always eternal salvation for all. when you are dead you cannot know anything. at that level i suppose we are all saved from human stupidity.
Valerie Saunders Do you have an institution that could moderate a civil debate between the two of us? I like having deep discussions and ResearchGate can only host so much. In short, we get our free will(capacity to reason) from somewhere, absolutes besides God probably do not exist, materialism does not explain free will, if all morality boils down to consequences then God is the arbiter. All the answers have to be somewhere and God is the most parsimonious explanation for the all-knowing and all-powerful. My life is A LOT better believing in God. I aspire to be a progressive(with moderation, negative utilitarianism, empathy, decency, dignity, courtesy and natural law) because of the Holy Spirit(God).
Valerie Saunders Thank you Professor Saunders, Your insults make me stronger and draw more attention to my work. I believe MORE in God than in A LOT of social sciences. God is metaphysical and philosophical: Data The Modeling Differential Equations
