In general authors do not get paid for their hard work instead some have to pay journals to get published. An author's wish is to get cited and some journals charge fees to readers ( other authors) before accessing the paper which may have THE information. Not everyone can something afford the subscription hence some articles are not accessible and not probably cited because of that.

Yes, I am completely agree with your point. Some good articles never cited due to this paradox. This is a typical scenario, no one is getting benefit out of the system. Thanks a lot for pointing out something which is very improtant.
Efectivamente, ese es un problema importante para la difusión del conocimiento. De ahí la importancia de apoyar a las revistas editadas en abierto. No obstante, tampoco puede obviarse que la edición de una revista de calidad necesita de recursos económicos y estos han de salir de alguna parte. Ciertamente es fundamental buscar fórmulas que permitan la viabilidad de esta publicaciones.
It's typically commercial, I agree with the colleagues, it's good to have affordable fees that helps for better publishing, but not that greedy.
