I'm curious what would happen if you tried to refine iron ore with graphene instead of using coke? What about refining iron to carbon steel?Cast iron?

Working on my term paper still and this question came through my head. Can anyone answer it?

I mean, at the end of the day coke also consists of defected and terminated stacked graphene sheets, so if you mix ore and graphene and heat up far enough, there shouldn't be much of a difference in comparison with coke.
