I Don't know much about it but did develop an expression relating A1C to Blood Sugar Meter Reading as follows:

A1C=(Blood Sugar Reading + 50)/29

One way to deal with diabetes effectively is proper diet and eating less carbs (less than 25 grams per day) and exercise for 20 to 30 minutes per day.

Thank you Neeran, The first link was broken and the second I don't believe! The reason is the diabetes is on the increase worldwide because of bad diet and lack of exercise. I realize it is genetic but we can still limit its effects.

Last year I have attended one seminar on that topic. So far I understood - many reports are their, many studies are performed but no plant/ plant extract is able to establish it as a curative agent of Type 2 Diabetes.

Some seed/ fruits / leaf / root etc. can assist in control of sugar of blood along with modification of lifestyle.

However, considering the amount of vegetable taken to cause the same level of control of blood glucose in diabetic patients as compared to oral blood glucose lowering medications or insulin would be enormous which is fraught with many side-effects.
