The WHODAS is a generic disability scale that has been shown to have good validity in chronic diseases and to be responsive to change . It measures impairment in six domains: mobility, self care, understanding and communication, interpersonal relationships, life activities and community participation. The WHODAS (range is from 12, no impairment, to 60, maximum impairment).
