you must create a discrete rigid plane for the top of your reinforced concrete model. After that, the reaction force for this surface will be the same as the reaction force that you want.

First of all, make sure that you extract the output from the same node as you have applied your load (or boundary condition).

You can only obtain non-zero reaction forces from nodes where you have applied a displacement boundary condition.

Did you apply the load as a prescribed displacement or as a force?

• If you applied it as a prescribed displacement, then you can extract the reaction force (RF)
• If you applied it as a force, then you need to extract the concentrated force (CF)
