In my opinion, there are some reasons why students should not wear uniforms such as:cost and comfort concerns, school uniforms restrict students' freedom of expression and also school uniforms do not stop bullying and may increase violent attacks.
I will say it is a restriction of individual freedom, however wearing uniform in a day of the week to symbolize and promote their professions will do no harm.
Yes. Uniform for university students is evidence that he is a university student who distinguishes the rest of the individuals and does not have a restriction
You can say partial restriction of individual freedom, however It is a symbol uniform that identifies university student and maintain them in a decent and respectable appearance away from extravagant fashion clothings
A kind of equality between the classes of the student community in the university, and it is important to take into account the humanitarian and psychological aspects of low-income students
It is relative to individual values. People will always feel restricted whenever they are told to do something in a particular way. For uniformity of purpose, commitment, moral rectitude and psychological balance, uniforms were introduced in universities, faculties or colleges.
I think that 90 percent of the students do not agree to wear uniforms and they are imposed on them and most students complain about the uniform, but the uniform is one rich and the poor as they mentioned some researchers

Every institution has their own rules and regulations and if you are a part of that institution you are expected to follow those rules; it's not about freedom or restriction for me; its about following rules and regulations; if one feels that uniform is an act of restriction then they are free to leave and get admitted to other institution where uniform is not mandatory. We only talk about freedom but at what cost; school children especially are meant to be trained and mold in certain ways; freedom is indeed a privilege and a right of every human being but minor age group need guidance from their elders/teachers/parents to be able to execute and used their freedom that will help them thrive and excel in life and the road to success is patience and if patience is developed from childhood they will remain to be so till their adult life >>. So I say, uniform or without uniform is the choice of the institution and it shouldn't be correlated with freedom of expression or restriction.
1) University is a place to learn what your elders have learned. In this case I feel a uniform is entirely appropriate as it continues a social tradition.
2) A university is a place to learn how to be independent. University is a place to understand what your elders have learned but to go beyond endlessly repeating their successes and mistakes.
There is a third option: dress code. You can wear any clothing you like but it cannot be transparent and more rules follow. It can be somewhat flexible like "pants must cover the waste to knees" or more restrictive "pants can be blue or green." If there are many rules then you have a uniform in practice even if not explicitly stated.
If the goal is to learn to follow more and more rules, how have we made any progress? The people we admire are the rule makers not the followers. This is not reinventing existing rules, it is learning the existing rules with the idea that every rule may be wrong or at least wrong in some cases. We then revise rules or make new ones to cover conditions or observations unforeseen by past generations.
Student of university are mature & they are also the citizen of the country enjoying their right to voting in the election of the respective government . It is in this line to apply for the university for costume of student is nothing but a restrictive process as university student are not at the level of secondary student .
