It is well known that Type C Tympanogram points to ETD but sometimes I face some cases of intermittent symptoms of unilateral ETD (Rt. side) noted by patient during particular events like sinking. During exam of such case, nothing abnormal clinically except signs of ITH, slight to mild DNS & partial unilateral nasal obstruction (Rt. side). At exam, tympanometry was done & revealed B/L Type A normal tympanogram. Are there other tests to detect ETD (Rt. side)? What is ETF intact test & how can be interpreted? What is ETF perforated test & how can be interpreted?
