I’ve recently used Turintin software to check the plagiarism rate of my manuscript... regarding the similarity report, I suppose that this software is quite performant, since it gaves a quite similarity between some of my sentences and the corresponding plagerized parts supposed to be occuring in my cited references. However, I think that the majority of the recognized journals used other performant plagiarism softwares, namely ithenticate and crosscheck., which l’ve never used or have had the access... in this regard, i’m Wondering if turnitin is as powerful as ithenticate/crosscheck,?. And if you have the access to the both former softwares, could you please help me to have the access too, knowing that they are paid ones?... waiting for your answers....
They are almost equally good. However, Turnitin needs certain adjustments to the formatting requirements and may need expertise to do it. I am unsure about iThenticate or Crosscheck. Another issue is that, these plagiarism check softwares are quite expensive and are usually installed in journals and institutions of higher learning.
