Hi! Sorry asking...but I saw your question and I think it's very interesting.....I'm sorry about my ignorance....but you are saying that there is kind of a prejudice from the Algerian teachers (I presume that it is about some of them which use the roman alphabet, that's why) regarding to the students that wrtite using the arabic alphabet?
Is that right? I am sorry, but I never heard about this, I am from Brazil and I am not familiar with it.....just curious....
This is an incredibly important and a very interesting subject, to do with discrimination, social inclusion, human rights and so many other areas of interest to social sciences.
I would cherish an opportunity to correspond with you about this topic. Please e-mail me at [email protected]
I recently examined a doctoral these issues were raised - I agree with peers above - it is an important area that we need to raise awareness of. Kind regards, Tony.
Hi! I saw your question and it is interesting as a research topic.
As you may know, people from south of Algeria are not really familiar or interested in French language, compared to Arabic. So many of them struggle with the French language after going to university and studying scientific branches in French (French is like the science language in Algeria). Many of my friends changed their majors or dropped out because of the French language barrier and the insults they received from their peers and students regarding their low language skills in French.
