I am conducting an evaluation of students' response to a project already finished.
I am looking to collect the data via semi-structured interview based on a guide. I am hoping to validate the data collected via interview by asking participants to also complete journal entries independently, guided by the same questions in semi-structured interviews.
Is this considered triangulation? My understanding is that triangulation tries to assess if we've reached data saturation / similar construct via >1 investigator / methods. In this case, I am thinking that using 2 different qualitative methods would count as methodological triangulation?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
