I have this question to answer for a university credit named 'Philosophical Enquiries' as part of the research methods course. What philosophical aspects would accompany this questions? Philosophical thinking and analysis is really not one of my strengths...
Since my area of specialisation is on Technology Enhanced Learning, I thought of putting a context to this question; about the different perceptions (cognitive alignments and misalignments) towards the use of technology in the classroom setting between policy-makers, who introduces the technologies, and the practitioners, being the teachers.
I thought maybe Analytical Philosophy, as an advanced form of Positivism, might be a good point of reference for my arguments? In the sense that the world is defined in different languages such as artistically, religiously, physically, scientifically, historically and more. Therefore, analysing the language helps in capturing the meaning of the world. In this sense, then, if we can come to common understanding of the words we use there will be less disagreement between us.
Any suggestions please?
