Is there phylogenetic niche conservatism in the larval habits?

Does anyone know of a good review or resource that discusses whether or not the larvae of closely related species tend to occupy the same niche - i.e. is there phylogenetic signal for things like stem boring and leaf mining, or pupating in soil across the holometabolous insects?
