I got many papers on Text classification before 2005 years. I didn't got current articles/papers. Now I want to know that "Is there is any scope to do the research on Text classification? Suggest the best domain.
Still, text classification has a lot of scope to work upon.
Text Classification is basically assigning one or more labels from predefined set. Text classification can be done at document level, paragraph level, Sentence level. Text classification at sentence level is referred to as short text classification which has lot of scope to work in both general domain and specific domains like medical.
So, my suggestion is to work on short text classification in domains like medical using deep learning. Refer to any of the survey papers on short text classification.
