Hello immunology experts, I'm interested in studying cross-presentation of antigens into the MHC-class I pathway, and there is sufficient evidence that this can be driven through various Fc-receptors on APCs (particularly DCs). I was wondering if a monoclonal antibody-raised in mice can cross-present an antigen when presented in context of human DCs, and vice versa? Would love to hear your insights and/or point me to some reviews/papers. Thank you so much!

I think this article might be of help to you (http://intimm.oxfordjournals.org/content/13/12/1551.full). it speaks about various species (Rabbit and Guinea pig) that can be used to produce antibodies so that Fc receptors of human beings and detect it.
Well-known X-reactiity of mouse IgG2a and 2b with human FcRs (rather than mouse IgG1 and 3 and obviously IgM). Even higher affinity if the (mouse) IgGs are somehow aggregated (e.g. after heating them 60 min at 56°C).

María Carmen Ochoa I have no information about rat IgG2a, but a Rat IgG2b, κ mAb seems to interact with mouse CD64 by the Fc fraction in this case:
To block the Fc‐dependent interaction of antibodies with FcγRs on mouse cells, mAbs directed against murine FcγRIIb and FcγRIII are commonly used. One of the most frequently used FcγR‐blocking antibodies is the rat mAb 2.4G2 3. Blocking of FcγRs I, IIb, and III is achieved by binding to a common nonpolymorphic epitope on the extracellular domains of the mouse FcγRIII/IIb receptors via the Fab regions 3, 4 and binding to FcγRI likely via the Fc part of the antibody 3.
