working with the biodegradable nano composites is how much promising to eliminate the use of non-biodegradable polymers. For example, for food packaging materials.
Silver bio polymer nano-composites to stop food poisoning.
Another thing is to use nano materials i to stop water or gas diffusion in bewerages or pH change in solution bottles.
The question is a little bit very general; the first application for PLA and its nanocomposites is the packaging. Me, my colleagues and our laboratory, conducted by Professor Philippe Dubois (Center of Innovation and Research in Materials and Polymers (CIRMAP), Laboratory of Polymeric and Composite Materials (LPCM), University of Mons & Materia Nova Research Center, Mons, Belgium), we are involved with many R&D projects in the production of new PLA nanocomposites, designed for packaging, textile or engineering applications.

i am still new in the field of polymer nano composites. i want to have large information about current works going on. i need contents and related data. please kindly provide me.
Because the mechanical and physical properties of edible films are very weak, there are some methods to improve these properties that one of these methods is the production of nanocomposites. Nanocomposites divided to branch: 1) we add a trifle amount of specific nanoparticle to edible films such as TiO2 or nanocelolluse that is compatible with base-film. 2) we produce completely nanocomposites such as production of all-nanocelollusic films.
