actually in this world no system is closed......

but for the fact that filter dryer is used because during condensation there might be some solid formation around active nuclei which must be removed before liquid goes for the expansion otherwise the expansion will not be effective.

the filter dryer is used to remove any form of solid from the flowing media...

May I know what do you mean by solid formation? Is it a solid form of the refrigerant or wear from the equipment?
