Is there any tool for analysis of complex event history data with repeated daily time use?

I have a question about the sequential data analysis.

My data set is composed of what, where and when people did such as daily time use survey.

And this data set includes everyday behavior data of each participant over some months.

In order to investigate the daily time use patterns, as far as I know, sequence analysis is suitable like a R package "TraMineR".

Are there other suitable analysis tools (R package or MATLAB toolbox is better) or references?
