Ligninolytic enzymes (laccases or peroxidases) have been used in many studies to degrade lignin in different lignocellulosic substrates.

Sometimes the enzymes are extracted and purified in the organism that naturally produces them (native enzymes) and sometimes they are cloned and produced in a host organism (recombinant enzymes).

I would like to know if someone has analyzed/measured/compared the ability of these two enzyme production systems to degrade lignin
