You can try the following etchants to remove Ni films deposited on PZT.

Many a times it depends how thick is the Ni film, and by what technique Ni has been deposited.

1) Dilute aqua regia

2) A mixture of (3:3:1:1) of H3PO4:HNO3:CH3COOH:H2O

Please do let me know if the above etchants worked successfully.
