Suppose we have two combined structures that are conductive but not electrically connected to each other (please check the figure). Is there any way we can selectively coat only one structure with a polymer? Or coat one structure with one polymer while coating the other structure with another polymer?

If you can apply enough charge to one structure at a time, and ground the spraying device, you have a good chance of only coating the charged structure. Refer to the paper here called Advantages of Combining Ultrasonic Atomization with Electrostatic Fields.

if the structures are made of different materials you can use the chemical properties to coat differently.
if they are the same material you need to differentiate - apply a voltage to one, create a temperature differential, use a micro writing device to apply the polymer.
Thanks, Robb Engle for your answer. What I'm trying to coat is a microlattice that has many internal surfaces. Therefore, using spray coating will not work. I probably need to do deep coating.
Thanks, James E Hanson for your answer. The material of both structures is the same. Can you elaborate on how I can use potential difference between two structures to coat them selectively? Is there any specific method I can use?
