Why don't you try an extraction procedure instead? Metal-triflates dissolve excellently in water. That is also the way how Lanthanide triflates are recovered. So, I would add enough organic solvent (ether, CH2Cl2?) to your mixture, which is immiscible with water but still dissolves your metal-amine complex and some water forming a second separable phase.
You can dissolve the metal triflate in acetonitrile followed by concentrate it under vacuum and subsequently add diethyl ether. It will get separated out from acetonitrile.
