Is there any software to deconvolute any function(Say an ellipse)? Can an ellipse be deconvoluted to a circle and a straight line? How?

I'm a chemical engineer so pardon me if my question is silly. I want to specifically de-convolute an ellipse-like closed loop function into a circle and a straight line. Is it possible using any software? Thanks.
