My aim is to create a fluid domain of 600m x 800m x 400m in Design modeler for wind analysis. But rectangle of size above 600m x 600 m couldn't be extruded. Is there any restriction for dimensions of geometry in ANSYS workbench ?
ANSYS DesignModeler geometry has a one cubic kilometer size box limit, centered at world origin. The geometry must fit inside, so largest dimension is 500 m about center.
The box limit can be adjusted to support large models. Once enabled, the default box changes to 1000 m^3.
For micrometers, the size box limit is one cubic meter, or 50mm.
Disabled - When large model support is disabled, the precision of the ANSYS DesignModeler application is 10e-® meters. That is, points are not considered coincident unless they are less than 10e-° meter units apart.
When large model support is enabled, the precision of the ANSYS DesignModeler application is loosened to 10e 5 meters.
