Besides both viral genomes are encoded by positive sense, single-strand RNA and they infect humans there is little similarity. Coxsackie genomes are 1/3 the size of the Coronavirus genome, Coxsackie infectious particles are non-enveloped at 30 nm across while Coronavirus particles are enveloped at 100 nm across. They are transmitted in different ways, with Coxsackie being transmitted by the oral-fecal route (by ingestion) while Coronavirus is spread by the respiratory route (through the nose and lungs).
