Colorimetrically Zn can be determined using some buffer(acetate), sodium citrate, trethanolamine, and dithizone dissolved in CCl4 and there is phase separation between organic and aqueous layer. This separation needs expert hand. It would be better if we have any uniphase system.

I agree that phase separation is a nuisance. If you have electrothermal AAS you could presumably measure the Zn concentration directly. What is the extractant?
I'm interested to learn why you are measuring soil instead of plant Zn.

I have AAS to analyse Zinc. But I would like to know through which method we can analyze soil available zinc colorimetrically without phase separaration.
