I have found unlike writing a book, researchers do not get paid for writing a quality research paper in the form of a royalty or author fees, few journals are changing this conventional model of "Author pays" and are offering up to 500 $ for publishing in their Journal, this news requires further validation, but such initiatives are good for promoting quality research and to motivate young researchers having economic constraints.
