I have different extracts of a medicinal plant. This plant have been known for its medicinal potential in traditional medicinal systems. So, I want to evaluate the biological potential of this plant, but I don't have an in vivo setup for evaluating the above mentioned activities. Is there any in vitro procedure for these activities that would allow me to evaluate this in lab?

Another way for in vitro anti-inflammatory model is using RAW cells (macrophages cells), induced with LPS and determine the nitric oxide level that release by the RAW cells.

To investigate possible antiinflammatory or analgesic effect of extracts in vitro, do investigate its Cyclooxygenase inhibitory effect (COX I or II) with Cayman assay kits. Infllammation is implicated in most of the listed disease conditions

As this assay is a new task for you. So, you must know Pre assay preparation, Precautions, warranty, storage of kit, performing the assay, trouble shooting, calculations regarding this assay. For this purpose, I am also sending you a guide ( in pdf format) as an attached file.
