Now I try to make hydrophobic pillar array using Resin 3D printing (Formlab's 'Surgical Guide Resin').
But actually I don't know exactly what the resin is made of. But as we know it is the mixture of monomers and oligomers. Is there any general way to coat such general polymer hydrophobic?
Ask yourself these two questions, 1. Does your polymer contain low surface energy materials or modifier, and 2. Can you create enough roughness on the surface of your substrate using 3D printing. If you could answer these two questions, you are halfway through creating the hydrophobic surface you require.

Hi Gun Oh , alternatively to the suggested reading by Abdelkader Dehbi , You could use PECVD to coat polymers and turn them hydrophobic. In your case, I guess, it would depend on the size and type of the articles you want to coat. An example of this here:

I don't know about your polymer type, but if water will not deteriorate it, you can mix for example 5% vinyl or methyl silanes with water and spray on the surface of polymer.
