I am evaluating the bahavior of slab-column connections under various gravity shear ratio. The involvement of nominal shear stress on concrete material (whether using regular concrete or engineered cementitious composite, ECC material) is considered in this study. However, there is a bit confusion related to the value of nominal shear stress of regular concrete and ECC material?
No. Nominal shear stress purely depends on the shear force at critical section or design shear force and cross sectional dimensions of the member.
