thank you for suggestion. recently I read a paper with name ("High-resolution mapping of the world’s reservoirs and dams for sustainable river-flow management"). in this paper there is a picture about distribution of dams in the world. I need some data base in which there are more details about dams.

Thank you for your suggestion. This site can be useful but just for hydro powers. In fact there are a lot of dams with varies purposes (agricultural, Industrial, Environmental and drinking). I need some information about world's dams containing their names, purposes and size.
