It is well known that most journals differ on how fast they are to make the first decision, and on how promptly they get accepted articles online. Nonetheless, it's often difficult to obtain sufficient knowledge on the issue aforementioned, and difficult yet to obtain it in a manner that provides a sufficient comparison between groups of journals. Can this be a task ResearchGate could help us do to find more reason for being on ResearchGate ? and not just providing a platform and requesting users to upload articles (i.e., upload a full-text of your article to increase you research gate score). In other words, journals/publishers could be asked to provide this information on RG or statistics could be derived from authors that are unloading manuscript to provide the duration it took before acceptance. I feel this might possibly help RG users
