Hi Paramita,

As In2O3 and Ga2O3 are soluble in hot acids and insoluble in H2O. Try In2O3, Ga2O3 and Hydroiodic Acid (HI), you may get GaI3 and InI3. I am not sure about GaI2 and InI2, Is it stable or does it exists? As Iodides are very hygroscopic. I have prepared CaI2,SrI2 and BaI2, they are moisture sensitive.
