I am trying to synthesize Iron oxide nanoparticles via thermal decomposition and have read that temperature ramping rate plays a significant role in the reaction -- we did not have these capabilities before so I ordered a Ohaus Guardian 7000 15L E-G71HS07C Digital Hot Plate Stirrer with the SmartRamp feature looking appealing. Now that I have the system I can only see to set it to slow or fast heating. Is there a way that I can designate specific heating rates numerically (like 10C/min) or will I need to buy a whole new machine?
