We are planning to use soil data (Texture and Density) to estimate soil bearing capacity (N-Value). Please list down various techniques, researches for doing this.

(A soil with all pores filled with water has infinite bearing capacity if it is confined, and probably only small bearing capacity if it is unconfined. ) I suggest you google soils work with penetrometers or engineering work with (building and bridge) piles. Both measure soil compressibility and the scale (1 - 5 mm for penetrometers and 0.5m+ for piles) does not seem to matter.

The formula below is used by soil scientists to measure N-value which is an engineering index for soil traffickability. i think you should factor in the variables used in developing this index.
The N-Value = A – 0.2R / L + 3H where A = 0.3bar moisture content
