I am not looking for a specific compound. This is a general question. Let's say my material is an oxide MO2 , and I want to have the diffraction pattern. I don't want to do google image search. I want a free and inclusive database that can be accessed online.
There are several databases where you can source crystal structure data to generate PXRD patterns and some will also generate the patterns for you.

Have you checked with your university's xray facility? They often have subscriptions to various databases even if they are not free. Also, you don't want to do a Google Image seearch, but a Google scholar search can get you a lot of information from scholarly papers.
In order to generate XRD pattern visit CCP14. There are several programs available which simulate diffraction patterns for any radiation, diffraction geometry, preferred orientation, peak models etc. I prefer PowderCell. However it does not read all CIF files. On the other hand it is a good teaching to write own files in order to understand what is necessary for a structure description. The cel-files are very easy to generate. Don't hesitate to ask.
