Is there a study on the maximum thumb extension that can be possible in a range of population while using injectors?

In Most pen injectors while dialing the dose, the dose dialer comes our or extends outside the pen as dialing happens.

How much maximum extension of dialer is acceptable for performing injection with one hand?

Is there some study available for the same?
