If I am an anxious pet owner (which I am ) is my pet's attachment orientation towards me also anxious? If so how do i measure it in a standardized manner?

Hi Charlotte Kasner what does the LAPS exactly measure? does it measure the 4 attachment orientation as per Bowlby's theory? Please do share if you have the scale and the scoring method.

That’s a tricky standardized test. This is nature and nurture. An anxious owner is going to own an anxious dog. Take that anxious dog out of the environment in which he lives with his owner, and give him 24-48 hours with a calm person, then observe the dogs behavior. That is the only true way I feel that it could be measured. environent is a huge factor and handler.
