I am currently working on a project seeking to correlate allochthonous input with shredder percentages and have found several papers addressing using bins and mesh nets for leaf litter collection. My question is if there is a standard method for this and how the setup would look? The main concern is affixing any leaf capturing trap to a streambank where weather events could result in high sample loss.
