Black Emancipatory Action Research includes at its core participatory and action research methodology which imperatively rely on community participation and community empowerment at all stages of research. Moreover theoretical grounding in Black Studies and Critical Race Theory facilitates adoption of the Afrocentric perspective to knowledge creation and interpretation.
Take a look at the work coming from indigenous researchers - you will find some of those references here on researcgate - they promote alternative world views.
Your answer refers to references which promote alternative world views; but do these references challenge orthodox theories such as cosmopolitanism, realism and relativism? Or do they develope on orthodox theories to fit specific environments and societies?

Participatory Action Research is Participatory Action Research. It's intention is emancipation at the organisational and community level. For me, race, colour, creed, faith, religion etc is not the main issue. Far more, it is that 'all' who wish for or require representation and advocacy are represented.
The attached chapter may assist my worldview - related to the action research part of it.

I enjoyed reading your chapter on mixed methods research which I had previously chosen to use in my thesis. especially the section on triangulation which as you know was employed by the Chicago School of Sociology.
At the moment I have completed triangulated data collection but have not focused on triangulation of my analyses which may be something I explore in the next chapter of my thesis.
