There is an interesting paper by P. Cobbold and colleagues in Marine and Petroleum Geology (2013), 43, 1-20

"Bedding parallel fibrous veins...: worlwide occurence and possible significance in, terms of fluid overpressure...." 

An oustanding review in my opinion.

Hi Dominique. Here is all Ok with me. I liked the article you recommended, but it addresses only veins developed parallel to bedding. I think he does not clarify other possibilities for these types of veins.
